250 millions years ago,
大自然把丽水大地描绘得妖娆动人，
the great nature painted the enchanting Lishui land,
极地冰和岩浆火是她唯一的画笔。
and polar ice and magma fire were her only brushes.
今天，我们用花园和房子来描绘我们的山水世界，
Today, we paint with gardens and houses our Shan-shui world,
这是人类文明的一种诗意的即兴创作。

Only together we can keep making the greatest artwork – a story of our civilization.
Lishui city grows within the framework of the biggest Chinese philosophical concept of “Tianxia" (literally “Under heaven”), which describes the world as a whole unity of all living beings. Our design is our language to criticize current and propose new value system: from efficiency to harmony, from human-centric to all-living-beings world, from planning to improvisation.
天下丽水不仅是中国丽水，更是世界丽水，欢迎天下人在同一片天地下即兴创作。 "Tian xia "Lishui will be not just the Chinese Lishui, but the world's Lishui, welcoming everyone to improvise together under the common heaven.

功能规划
回溯之路在诗歌、书法、绘画和园林中都可以找到。东西方的核心区别在于对自然的态度：人类文化是自然的一部分，而不是对立的；它是1+1+1=1的公式。这里的1是情是意是主客观为一体的意境。 在这个不断变化的星球上，我想让我们的城市生机勃勃：在即兴创作的城市里，每个人都是艺术家——时间，环境与人类不断地相互启发、相互塑造。只有在一起，我们才能继续创作最伟大的艺术作品——我们的文明史。The way back to Tianxia is found in poetry, calligraphy, paintings, and gardens. The core difference between East and West is in attitude to nature: human culture as a part of nature rather than an opposition to it; it is always 1+1+1=1 formula, where '1' represents emotion, meaning and the artistic conception in one integration of subjective and objective.Under heaven on a changing planet, I want to bring our cities alive: in improvisation city everyone is an artist – time, environment and human continuously inspire and shape each other. 03 重塑山水
城市的发展不受建筑物、道路或树木的限制，我们欢迎整个生态系统及其所有的水、灌木、草和昆虫。
The urban growth is not limited by buildings, roads or trees; we welcome the whole ecosystem in with all its waters, bushes, grasses and bugs.
因此，总体空间布局以自然廊道格局为基础，使山水城各处的“气”能顺畅流动。在一个中国书法运动中，每一笔的节奏和特点代表了城市整体景观结构。 Therefore, the general spatial layout is based on the natural corridor patterns, and it allows the smooth “qi ” energy flow in every place of the Shan-shui city. Drawn in a single Chinese calligraphy movement, the rhythm and character of each stroke represents the holistic urban landscape structure.
let human and natural forces play together! Welcome mist to make a curtain veil, welcome wind to blow music in the hollow wall, welcome fireflies to dance in darkness, welcome people to carve and sculpt their spaces.
like any Chinese character, each landscape element carries its own story; Shan-shui landscape of Lishui is a soundless poem, translated through the generations by the spatial dance of natural and human forces.
We have a subjective image of any object we face. Improvisation is a collective practice to re-imagine the solidified appearance of things. In our eyes, improvisation blends geometry, physics, biology and psychology in a city growth process – a carrier of unconventional thinking and compound imagination. If we want to improvise better, we have to think about the world better.
即兴创作是人们进入天下山水世界的活动机制，它需要人们汇聚自己的未知，架构一种共识性的思考方式，生长拓展一个边界的行为。同时即兴的尺度越大，即兴的人文系统及复杂性会呈几何指数增加。它允许不完整的地方和自发性给整个概念带来活力和弹性。通过欣赏环境中的美与和平，实践艺术和种植食物，我们将达成如何关心我们共同的世界的共识。Improvisation is a ‘portal’ for people to enter the world of Shan-Shui. It requires people to dive into their own unknowns, construct a common way of thinking, and grow and expand their boundaries. At the same time, the larger the scale of improvisation, the more complex the improvisation system will be. Improvisation allows imperfections and spontaneity to bring vitality and resilience to the whole concept. By appreciating beauty and peace in the environment, practicing art and growing food, we will reach a consensus on how to care about our common world.
With the continuous rise of people's spiritual needs, Lishui brand also begins to move towards the third layer of meaning: a kind of common faith and trust. Lishui, by bringing new urban value system, gradually gets into people's subconscious area, having a strong humanistic attribute. This has incomparable potential as the source of the city development.
